THE PARK AND THE CITY OF ARTS AND SCIENCES - BY BIKE
Languages: English / Spanish / French
Service Description
The Turia is the river that once crossed Valencia. After repeated floods, its course was diverted, which today has given way to a very pleasant park — a true green lung in the heart of the city. This is the park I suggest discovering by bike. In the 1990s and 2000s, an ambitious City of Arts and Sciences was built in a section of the former riverbed — a truly futuristic complex. Our bike ride will take us there so we can discover each building. We will also pass other parts of the park, with its ancient and modern bridges, omnipresent water, and rich vegetation. The Music Palace, Gulliver Park and the ruins of the Queen’s Palace are just some of the highlights along the way. The bike ride: a very pleasant way to combine nature and the urban world!
