THE PARK AND THE CITY OF ARTS AND SCIENCES - BY BIKE

Languages: English / Spanish / French

Service Description

The Turia is the river that once flowed through Valencia. After experiencing repeated floods, its course was redirected, leading to the creation of a beautiful park—a true green oasis in the heart of the city. I suggest exploring this park by bike. In the 1990s and 2000s, a remarkable City of Arts and Sciences was constructed in a section of the former riverbed, resulting in a truly futuristic complex. Our bike ride will take us there so we can explore each of the buildings. We will also pass through other areas of the park, featuring its ancient and modern bridges, abundant water features, and rich vegetation. Along the way, we’ll see highlights such as the Music Palace, Gulliver Park, and the ruins of the Queen’s Palace. Cycling through this area offers a wonderful way to combine nature with the urban landscape!
